A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join their team in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in courtroom settings, with a preference for candidates who have criminal court or children and youth experience. Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation matters, with a primary focus on courtroom proceedings
• Handle all aspects of case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
• Advocate on behalf of clients in hearings and trials, ensuring strong presentation of their case
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and share insights for optimal outcomes
• Maintain case files and ensure that all deadlines are met
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with clients and other legal professionals

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in litigation, with courtroom exposure
• Criminal court or children and youth law experience is a plus
• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
