Evaluate and propose viable immigration relief strategies tailored to client circumstances
Develop and execute plans for resolving legal issues and overcoming immigration hurdles
Provide oversight, mentorship, and training for assigned legal support staff
Review, audit, and ensure quality assurance on work produced by non-attorney team members
Conduct internal legal training focused on ethical standards and best practices
Respond to case-specific legal inquiries from legal support staff
Edit and finalize immigration filings and supporting documentation (e.g., USCIS applications)
Monitor and implement updates on immigration law, administrative policies, and court decisions
Minimum of 3 years of experience handling family-based and humanitarian immigration cases
Direct involvement with humanitarian visa petitions such as VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, Asylum, and related filings
Demonstrated experience preparing USCIS and consular applications, responding to RFEs and NOIDs, and prepping clients for interviews
Strong ability to guide and lead a legal support team with professionalism and efficiency
Commitment to client-focused, advocacy-driven legal work
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
Experience with immigration court proceedings is an advantage
Proficiency in adjusting to new legal processes and a continuous improvement mindset
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice law and a member in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar
Deep knowledge of U.S. immigration law, especially in humanitarian and family-based categories
Strong legal writing, editing, and document preparation abilities
