Duties

• Attend court hearings and legal proceedings, performing legal research.
• Draft documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts for legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with clients and senior associates to efficiently resolve cases.
• Assist clients in determining solutions to legal conflicts and the best course of action.
• Maintain organized client files for easy access by attorneys and support staff.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and other legal matters.
• Handle client matters from start to finish with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn from senior attorneys.
• Successful completion of the state bar exam.
• Experience in bankruptcy or commercial litigation of at least 1-2 years.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
