Join our highly visible, internationally growing Innovations team, as an Operations Analyst for our Public Sector Partnership, you will drive growth across Aon by developing and delivering multi-functional solutions to support our public sector clients! Excel within our hybrid-remote work environment; commutable to either our Washington, DC; or Chicago, IL; office location, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations.Your impact as an Operations Analyst – Public Sector This role is a meaningful part of the team with a focus in public sector. Works closely with sales teams, solution lines and operations to aid in performance insight, forecasting and identifying strategic opportunities.Job Responsibilities:Identifies, qualifies, and shares public sector opportunities using a variety of subscription resources.Maintains relationships with various stakeholders across the firm to understand the solutions they can bring to government and the challenges they face in doing business with public sector.Tracks relevant news and legislation related to government, financial services, and insurance.Leverages both internal and external systems to understand external clients and internal solutions.Conduct focused research projects to better help colleagues understand individual clients and the non-market environment.Participate in formation of business strategy and client plans and associated forecasts.Provide insight into surrounding performance against industry benchmarking. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseSkills/Qualifications: 4 years of proven experience analyzing, managing, and supporting large amounts of data and proactively taking appropriate follow-up actions and performing ad hoc research tasks.Performing outreach to address operations and/or records management concerns.Supporting internal special projects, including marketing efforts (including social media marketing).Assisting with conference planning (identifying speakers etc.).Tight-knit collaboration skills and understanding of team value.Innovative problem solver with creative problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to connect with all levels, from peers to senior leadership).Detail oriented.Excellent time leadership skills.Proficient in Excel.
