A prominent law firm is looking to hire an experienced Land Use Attorney to join its team. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in land use, zoning, and development permitting. Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on land use, zoning, and development permitting issues.
• Represent clients in zoning board hearings, municipal councils, and other regulatory proceedings.
• Draft and review zoning and land use-related documents, including permits and development agreements.
• Advise clients on land use strategies to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Negotiate with governmental agencies and private developers on land use and zoning matters.
• Stay current on zoning laws, land use policies, and any changes to local ordinances.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land use, zoning, and development permitting.
• Proven experience handling complex zoning and land use cases.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including government agencies, developers, and clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of land use, zoning, and development permitting laws and regulations.
