Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated litigation attorney for its Buffalo, New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience and be licensed in New York. This role offers the opportunity to gain trial experience and work with a dedicated litigation team.

Duties

• Prepare for trials, including strategy discussions and client interviews.
• Conduct legal research and review records.
• Draft briefs, memos, and client updates.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Requirements

• Active license in New York and/or New Jersey (both preferred).
• Experience in asbestos, toxic tort, or product liability defense preferred.
• Previous litigation experience required.
• Participation in law review or moot court is a plus.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused with a proactive approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active Bar License in New York required.
