Duties:

• Manage cases independently from inception to resolution, working closely with senior partners.
• Prepare and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials/arbitrations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct thorough legal research on intricate procedural and substantive matters.
• Review and analyze legal documents with a high level of accuracy and detail.
• Engage professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Participate in business development and networking to grow client relationships.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, supporting other associates and team members.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of litigation experience in a private law firm.
• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
• Strong academic and professional track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong legal research skills, particularly using tools like Westlaw and LexisNexis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar License required.
