A law firm seeks a driven and detail-oriented Science Advisor to join its Patent Litigation Life Sciences team. This position is open to candidates across the United States, including fully remote opportunities. The role involves providing strategic support on complex matters for a diverse range of biopharma and healthcare clients.

Duties

• Partner with attorneys to develop technical strategies in patent-related matters.
• Analyze patents, prior art, and technical documentation for litigation support.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into clear insights for litigation teams.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent in molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in life sciences patent litigation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• USPTO Membership is encouraged.

Education

• Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant scientific fields.

Certifications

• USPTO Membership encouraged.

Skills

• Familiarity with patent litigation processes.
• Experience with sequence alignments and therapeutic protein analysis.
• Experience preparing or reviewing expert reports.
