Boutique, entrepreneurial law firm with a concentration in real estate and corporate matters is seeking an attorney with 3+ years of broad commercial real estate experience including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, entitlement, construction, and loan documentation.  The candidate must be articulate, personable, and a strong negotiator, and will be expected to run complex transactions on his/her own.  This is a terrific opportunity to gain sophisticated hands-on experience in a thriving real estate practice. 

Experience Level:  3+ years

Hours:  Full-time

Compensation/benefits:  Negotiable and commensurate with experience

Job Description/Background:  The firm is a small, but sophisticated, transactional law firm handling a wide range of commercial real estate transactions and corporate matters.  We strive to offer a congenial and laid-back working environment, support and encouragement for you to develop your own client base, and a quality of life not readily available in a law firm setting.

Duties would include, but not be limited to: 

- Draft and negotiate real estate contracts and leases for retail, office and industrial properties

- Handle all aspects of retail development projects for national developers

- Entitlement work (zoning review, applications for variances, governmental approval)

- Close commercial acquisitions and dispositions

- Due diligence/title/survey review

- Review, negotiate and close financing transactions
