Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense trials.
• Manage and oversee complex litigation cases.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and strategy planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
• Develop case strategies, conduct depositions, and represent clients in court.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients in matters related to insurance defense.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in trial law is essential, with a preference for insurance defense.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
• Experience in first-party insurance litigation is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
