Duties:

• Represent nursing homes and assisted living facilities in legal matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to facility operations, patient rights, and state and federal regulations compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and procedures for clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client advice.
• Handle disputes and claims involving facility operations, including malpractice, negligence, and regulatory violations.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and experts to build and support case strategies.
• Keep abreast of relevant laws and regulations changes, and update clients accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance to facility staff on legal and regulatory matters.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar.
• Experience in elder law or representing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
• Proven track record in managing complex legal matters related to healthcare and elder care.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, including state and federal regulations governing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
