The College of Arts is a vibrant and growing element of the University of Lincoln, which is based in the heart of this thriving, friendly and beautiful city. The College’s Technical Services Team is made up of over 30 highly skilled and specialist staff who provide a wide-range of services and support to students and academic teams across the College.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to support teaching and learning across the Colleges CAD and 3D computer modelling provision. Providing support to academic led activities and one to one student support, the role will focus on the AutoDesk, Rhino, Maya and Fusion360 software packages, local oversight of the CAD and Rhino computer suites and the college Render Farm. This is a new position within the team and will give the successful applicant the opportunity to develop the role to meet the needs of the programs.

Applications from people with extensive experience of Rhino and AutoCAD, are especially welcome.

As an applicant for this post, you should ideally have:

experience in working with various software to include Fusion 360, Rhino and, CAD

experience of supporting Windows and Apple operating systems

knowledge of render farms, their operation and management

be self-motivated and a proactive team player with a passion for providing an excellent student experience

the potential to develop your skills so that you are able to provide technical support across the wider team.
