Duties

• Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare for legal proceedings.
• Divide marital assets and provide legal counsel with senior associates.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients and maintain detailed client records.
• Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants.

Requirements

• VA Bar license is required.
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
• Ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar exam completion.
