Tax Senior Manager - Estate Planning and Trusts
The candidate will lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning, and consulting services for a variety of clients. Review and prepare a gift, and fiduciary income tax returns. Estate income tax planning for high net worth clients and their families. Represent clients before tax agencies and follow up with government authorities as required. Perform estate research & tax analysis and document findings/conclusions. Keep up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law. Provide exceptional client service as well as develop trusted client relationships. Generate new business and cross-selling leads with existing clients. Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; and manage to budget. Conduct a primary and secondary review of complicated or complex income tax returns including Corporate, S-Corp. partnership, and individual clients. Consult, work with, and service clients to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business adviser to clients. Identify and execute best practices for the firm to ensure sustainability. Perform other duties as assigned.
