Associate Attorney needed for Atlanta office

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will represent clients during Zoom Court 341 Meetings of Creditors, conduct client consultations and intake, and prepare legal documents and motions. Membership in the Georgia Bar is required for this position.

Duties:

• Represent clients during Zoom Court 341 Meetings of Creditors.
• Conduct client consultations and intake interviews.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research to support case arguments and strategies.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and discuss strategy.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case preparation and strategy.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the Georgia Bar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.

Education & Certifications:
