Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery responses

• Conduct detailed case law and statutory research

• Attend court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials as required

• Assist in developing case strategies alongside senior litigators

• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions

• Conduct and defend depositions, including those of expert and corporate witnesses

• Communicate effectively with internal team members, clients, and outside parties

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, preferably in matters involving insurance defense

• Admitted to practice and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment

• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research capabilities

• Experience handling depositions and appearances is highly desirable

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Georgia State Bar
