Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its dynamic litigation team. This role involves handling complex litigation matters, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical and medical device cases involving Daubert and Rule 702 motions. The position offers significant client interaction, mentoring opportunities, and the ability to take ownership of substantive aspects of litigation.

Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Draft and review discovery responses, motions, briefs, and memoranda

• Communicate with clients and provide case updates

• Assist with factual investigations and depositions

• Work with expert witnesses across various scientific and technical fields

• Supervise and mentor junior associates

• Collaborate in developing case strategy and managing case flow

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience

• Prior work at an AmLaw 100 or similarly ranked law firm preferred

• Proven experience with Rule 702 and Daubert motions

• Familiarity with product liability and mass tort litigation

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• New York bar admission preferred but not required
