A law firm in Champaign is currently seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of employment law experience. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and have an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in matters related to employment law. This role requires expertise in employment regulations, dispute resolution, and the ability to navigate complex employment issues.

Duties:

• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other related documents.
• Represent clients in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases.
• Conduct legal research on employment issues and provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with HR professionals and management to develop effective employment practices.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements in employment-related legal matters.
• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in employment law.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Strong litigation and dispute resolution skills.
