Job Title: Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in New York City, NY, seeks a mid-level associate to join its dynamic Litigation group. This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex litigation matters while working collaboratively within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, and will be expected to contribute to case strategy development and client management.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients and manage relationships.
• Supervise junior associates and coordinate work efforts.
• Collaborate with experts and assist in fact development, including depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Develop case strategies and assist in the preparation of legal documents.
• Participate in trial preparation and hearings as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• A science background is essential; experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation is required.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is a plus.
• Must be admitted to practice in New York.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Advanced degrees in MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology are required.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in New York.
