Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking experienced Real Estate Finance Associates (3rd to 7th year) to join its Washington, D.C. office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate finance transactions, including mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans, with a focus on representing institutional lenders. Ideal candidates will have significant law firm experience and strong academic credentials.

Location:

• Washington, D.C.

Duties:

• Represent institutional lenders in mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loan transactions

• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related agreements

• Provide legal support for acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate

• Advise clients on structuring and financing strategies

• Conduct due diligence related to real estate assets and transactions

• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on complex finance matters

• Assist in managing real estate portfolios and risk mitigation

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in real estate finance at a law firm

• Experience representing lenders in loan transactions is preferred

• Prior work on acquisition and disposition transactions is a plus

• Must be admitted to practice in the District of Columbia

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited and nationally recognized law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the DC Bar (required)
