A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join its practice in Chicago, Illinois. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload and play a pivotal role in advocating for clients' rights in employment-related matters.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day management of cases and hearings.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Guide clients through the legal process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the NJ State Bar Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the NJ State Bar Association.
