This opportunity is ideal for a licensed South Carolina attorney who is passionate about residential and commercial real estate transactions. The role offers the chance to oversee diverse closings, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute to the firm's business development efforts.

Duties:

• Manage residential and commercial real estate closings, including sales and refinancing transactions

• Examine and verify property titles to ensure marketability

• Collaborate with lenders, real estate brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers throughout the closing process

• Draft, review, and finalize real estate documents such as contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements

• Provide a professional and client-centered experience by addressing questions and concerns during and after the transaction

• Review financial disbursement ledgers and authorize payments

• Build and nurture business relationships to support firm growth initiatives

• Conduct educational sessions and presentations for prospective clients on real estate law topics

Requirements:

• Prior experience in residential real estate transactions is highly preferred

• Active member of the South Carolina State Bar in good standing

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to teamwork

• Self-motivated with the capacity to engage in community activities and drive business results

• Growth-oriented, with a focus on expanding residential real estate practice

• Demonstrated strong work ethic through academic and professional achievements

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to and good standing with the South Carolina State Bar

• Title review and clearance proficiency

• Ability to work efficiently with multiple stakeholders (lenders, agents, clients)

• Strong organizational and client relationship management skills
