Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Litigation Services Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and strategic legal research to contribute to the firm’s litigation success. The role involves providing high-level legal analysis and strategic guidance, as well as supporting litigation teams in complex procedural matters, deadlines, and court filings.

Duties:

• Conduct judicial research to develop profiles and analytics on specific judges, including transcript reviews.
• Oversee and maintain a comprehensive litigation calendar, tracking deadlines for contested matters using a firm-approved calendaring system.
• Coordinate and execute court services, including retrieving court documents, filing client and firm court documents, and managing litigation mail.
• Prepare detailed procedural roadmaps to guide attorneys through court filings, ensuring compliance with complex rules and offering strategic insights based on judicial preferences.
• Safeguard and maintain confidential, privileged, or proprietary information by firm policies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney and/or attorney in a Docket/Calendar/Litigation Services environment
• In-depth knowledge of court rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to apply complex legal principles and procedural rules efficiently.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Current Bar admission in Massachusetts (MA).

Skills:

• Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, CourtLink, and Lex Machina.
• Advanced knowledge of litigation procedures and calendaring systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location:
Boston, MA (Hybrid work arrangement available).
