Duties

• Assist attorneys with drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to electrical engineering and software technologies
• Support patent litigation matters through technical analysis and documentation
• Analyze complex wireless communication technologies and industry standards
• Conduct technical research related to patentability and prior art
• Collaborate with attorneys on patent strategy and intellectual property protection
• Prepare technical materials and documentation to support legal arguments and filings
• Assist with evaluating inventions and preparing related patent application materials

Requirements

• 1 to 6 years of intellectual property experience involving patent drafting or prosecution
• Background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field
• Experience analyzing complex technical systems and technologies
• Ability to work effectively with attorneys on patent prosecution and litigation matters
• Design engineering experience at a semiconductor or chip company is considered beneficial
• Familiarity with wireless communication standards such as 5G, 6G, or 3GPP is helpful but not required

Education and Certifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
