Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Transactional Lawyer for its Investment Team practice in Charlotte, NC. This role involves representing capital providers in debt and equity investment activities, including lending transactions and private equity investments. The position offers a unique opportunity to work across the capital structure and engage with both equity and debt investors, as well as portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Duties

• Represent lenders in lending transactions.
• Advise alternative investment vehicles on debt and equity investments.
• Assist private equity fund investors with control and growth equity investments.
• Engage with portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Requirements

• Two to six years of transactional experience.
• Experience in finance or corporate transactions preferred.
• Excellent academic performance.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Education

• Law degree.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Effective communication and client management skills.
