Legal Counsel, Sales Legal
The candidate will focus on negotiating customer contracts for enterprise Digital Experience and Digital Media clients. Experience negotiating sophisticated enterprise software, SaaS/Cloud, and professional services contracts. Lead, co-lead or participate in a handful of projects. For example, a project to improve deal velocity by promoting "Low Touch/No Touch" contracting resources to allow sales teams and other partners to engage in self-help for contract negotiations. Provide legal counsel to Sales and Sales Management (and possibly other internal groups, such as the Product teams, Privacy/Security team, and Consulting Services teams) on a variety of licensing topics including intellectual property, commercial terms, and privacy law. A J.D. from an accredited law school and an active bar membership is required. Should have 2-5 years of relevant experience. Subject matter knowledge in key areas like Privacy (ex. CCPA and GDPR compliance), Information Security protocols, and key contract provisions (ex. IP infringement indemnity, warranties, data privacy, data security). Dexterity in advising a sales team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, often multitasking. Great communication skills.
