Description
Be a part of the Software Asset Management (SAM) team reporting directly to Humana IT Asset Manager. Humana is seeking a Software Asset Management Licensing Lead who will be charged with overseeing the software licensing and compliance for the SAM Program and achieving the established business and IT objectives; including to help drive value out of software and reducing risks to the business.
Responsibilities
The SAM Licensing Lead will be accountable for leading a team of Software License Entitlement and Compliance resources and will partner with specific business areas to support software asset management processes including full software lifecycle management, compliance, optimization, audit data requests and merger & acquisition (M&A) support.
This is a 'hands-on' role where the SAM Licensing Lead will lead and participate in ensuring:
Software license entitlements and contracts are entered into the software asset management repository which is considered the source of truth
Terms in contracts are translated into the proper software asset management metric engine
Software discovery is normalized to software entitlements/models
Valid Position statements are created for software technologies per Compliance Schedule
Under-utilized and 'at risk' software is identified for Reclamation
Audit and M&A data requests are responded to efficiently and accurately
Partnerships are developed with Product owners/IT Technology owners to optimize outcomes
Participating in ServiceNow SAMPro module testing utilizing QTest
OKR and SLAs are tracked and managed
Required Qualifications
10 or more years experience in software asset management
Provide leadership role to staff of Software License and Compliance Analysts
Work with Humana Leadership to drive SAM Program maturity and continual improvement
SAM Stakeholder relationship management
Knowledge of software asset management tools, specifically ServiceNow SAMPro
Demonstrated ability to perform research and interpretation of Software Contracts
Subject Matter Expertise of licensing agreements for high profile vendors (IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce)
Good understanding of SaaS and other cloud hosted license models
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into action and use the data to impact and influence business outcomes
Strong Focus on Data Quality and Trend analyses
Establish and maintain Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Measurements
Microsoft Office proficiency - able to write queries, create forms, reports, presentations and documents in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow SAMPro module experience
ServiceNow Fundamentals Certification
