Location:

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 100 active personal injury litigation cases.
• Lead all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements and work closely with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Oversee the settlement process, including the disbursement of funds to clients, lienholders, and other parties involved.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies and further professional development.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys or legal staff as needed.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the litigation process, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a personal injury plaintiff attorney.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience with depositions, mediations, and trial work.
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while managing a significant caseload.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.
• Strong experience with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Effective negotiation skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders (clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel).
