Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Insurance Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters, including placements and claim management for Directors & Officers insurance, representations & warranties insurance, and cyberliability. Experience with commercial contract indemnification, D&O advancement, indemnification issues, corporate/M&A disputes, and securities litigation is advantageous.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
• Manage complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies.
• Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development and community involvement.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Admitted to practice in the state of office location.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
