Jiffy Lube is the market leader in the automotive aftercare market, a $3B industry that is growing at 3% YOY. The Jiffy Lube Business (JLI) organization is a highly professional, commercially focused, premium automotive franchise and products growth-oriented organization. The JLI Learning Advisor, reporting to the Field Integration Team Lead, aims to provide external and internal stakeholders training. External stakeholders are defined as franchisees and their employees, while internal represent the JLI operation's team.
What's the role?
The key Operational, and strategic focus includes conducting, delivering, and creating meaningful training to improve and optimize store performance while providing a consistent experience to customers.
The Learning Manager is responsible for delivering and creating training at multiple levels. For the franchisee community, he is part of a team that provides instructor led training (ILT) content to the Franchise community and supports the JLU training initiatives in North America. The ILT training is delivered virtually or in person. This person also plays an essential role in updating and creating new content for store employee training. It focuses on creating supplemental resource content concentrating on safety, quality workmanship, quality control, and customer excellence. Internally, work with the Field Integration Team Lead and JLI Area Managers to identify, create, and deliver our internal field force training.
The role of the JLI learning manager focuses on three areas, Aggregating (collecting information from multiple sources), Filtering (identifying what the learner needs), and Organizing (chunking the content to aid in comprehension).
This will require strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to create, manage, and facilitate internal and external stakeholders' engagement. This role will require knowledge of training development tools, such as Rise 360, Storyline 360, iSpring Suite, or Thinkific.

As part of the Operations Support Team, this person plays a constructive role in identifying the needs of the team and the associated support required to deliver on these.
Accountabilities:
Effective delivery of Jiffy Lube Advanced Management training, Enhanced Customer Service Advisor training, Sales training, Empowering the Customer – Oil Selection training, and other related and developed content.
Communicating and influencing JLI District Manager, Territory Manager, Area Manager, and Jiffy Lube Franchisees.
Develop expertise with the JLU Learning Management System (LMS) to set up classes, enroll students, initiate class announcements and reminders, track and post training-related expenses
Optimize training offering by creating new content, updating, or replacing it.
Work with Franchise District Managers and Shell's meeting planning group to arrange meeting rooms for in-person training.
Train franchisee trainers and operations personnel to become competent trainers of their store employees.
Provide to franchisees and students pre-class assignments and post-class assessments for participants as part of the process of attaining certification
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the development or refinement of procedures and processes to support relevant JLU initiatives.
JLU Trainer is focused on creating supplemental resource content concentrating on safety, quality artistry, quality control, and customer excellence
Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
At least three (3) years experience in the development of both virtual and in-person training using latest techniques and technology.
Experience in Training, Global Commercial Sales, Marketing, or Franchise business is preferable.
Excellent presentation and training development skills.
Business partnership and stakeholder management, including strong alignment of vision, desired outcome expectations, and proactive communication.
Understanding and appreciation of the commercial/operational realities of a service-based industry
Thinks strategically and communicates creatively to inform decision making of key stakeholders
Consultative and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of tasks, projects, and data with minimal guidance.
