Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes involving professional liability, general liability, and directors' and officers' insurance policies.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other legal documents.
• Oversee all aspects of discovery and discovery motion practice.
• Take depositions and appear in court, managing cases independently as appropriate.
• Assist in business development and client management.
• Collaborate with team members while also thriving in an independent work environment.
• Provide strategic legal advice on complex claims and reinsurance matters.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong background in civil litigation, with hands-on experience in drafting legal documents, discovery processes, and conducting depositions and court appearances.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and develop client relationships.
• Proven track record in business development and client management.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of insurance and reinsurance litigation, including coverage disputes.
• Excellent legal writing and research capabilities.
• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
