A law firm in Deerfield Beach, FL, is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney with 3+ years of experience representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions, and/or title proceedings, or a strong desire to learn these practice areas. The ideal candidate should possess leadership and management skills, along with admission to practice in Florida and respective federal district courts. Creditor-side bankruptcy experience and litigation skills are advantageous. The role involves the preparation of pleadings and motions, court appearances, legal research and writing, and communication with clients, outside counsel, and court personnel.

Duties:

• Prepare pleadings and motions for foreclosure, eviction, and title proceedings.
• Make court appearances for motions, conferences, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and writing on relevant issues.
• Communicate, both written and orally, with clients, outside counsel, and court personnel.
• Utilize creditor-side bankruptcy experience if applicable.
• Demonstrate litigation skills in legal proceedings.
• Exhibit leadership and management skills.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions, and/or title proceedings or a strong desire to learn.
• Creditor-side bankruptcy experience is a plus.
• Litigation experience is a plus.
• Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred.
• Admission to practice and in good standing in Florida, including respective federal district courts.
• Admission to practice in other states is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, appearing in court, and researching legal issues.
• A portable book of business is a plus.
