Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Corbin, KY is looking to expand its team by hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney. The primary focus will be consumer bankruptcy cases, with potential involvement in personal injury, probate, and civil litigation.

Duties:

• Manage and handle a caseload with a strong attention to detail.
• Maintain excellent client communication and management.
• Work on consumer bankruptcy cases, with potential work in personal injury, probate, and civil litigation.
• Travel as needed to the firm's additional offices in Somerset and Lexington, KY, as well as to court appearances throughout the state.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure cohesive and effective case handling.

Requirements:

• Must have a license to practice law in Kentucky.
• Admission to the Eastern and Western District Federal Courts is required upon hiring.
• Open to both recent law school graduates and experienced attorneys.
• Previous experience in bankruptcy law is beneficial but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Kentucky Bar admission (required).
• Must be eligible for or admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western District Federal Courts.
