Duties

• Review titles and provide legal advice to clients.
• Update clients on case developments and maintain client rapport.
• Work with legal assistants and peers to monitor case progress.
• Draft, prepare, and format legal documents including memoranda and pleadings.
• Make court appearances remotely and across Connecticut.
• Write, review, and edit reports and other documents for compliance.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Membership in the State Bar of Connecticut.
• Ability to manage cases independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• State Bar of Connecticut membership.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Teams is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Experience with Promissory Notes, Mortgages, and related documents.
• Familiarity with case-management systems and client communication tools is a plus.
