A prominent international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate Attorney for its New York office. The position involves a diverse range of sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, and fund-related work across multiple asset types. Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Represent clients in real estate acquisitions and dispositions

• Advise borrowers and lenders in construction and permanent financing transactions

• Structure and negotiate equity joint ventures and assist with entity formation

• Work on portfolio transactions, REITs, and real estate fund investments

• Handle legal aspects of transactions involving various asset classes including:

  • Residential

  • Office

  • Industrial

  • Retail

  • Hospitality

  • Land

• Draft and negotiate transactional documents

• Collaborate with partners and team members across offices and practice areas

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of real estate transactional experience

• Experience in joint ventures, fund structuring, and financings preferred

• Familiarity with a wide range of asset classes

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Strong commitment to client service and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar, or eligibility to waive in

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Team-oriented with a desire to take ownership of matters and client relationships

• Familiarity with complex deal structures and fund-level considerations is a plus
