Duties

• Manage commercial litigation matters, including insurance defense, personal injury, and business disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Handle discovery, including responding to and objecting to requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Provide litigation reporting, particularly for insurance-related matters.
• Work on cases involving transportation, hospitality, professional liability, product liability, and construction disputes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience handling all phases of litigation.
• Familiarity with insurance defense and litigation reporting preferred.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
