Associate Attorney needed for Pittsburgh office

Profile

A law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience, preferably with a background or interest in litigation, appellate practice, regulatory compliance, administrative law, and energy law. The successful candidate will assist in representing public utilities before state and federal regulatory agencies and appellate courts. Top academic credentials and exceptional research, writing, analytical, and communication skills are required. Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is a must, with additional admission(s) to Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and/or West Virginia considered helpful.

Duties:

• Assist in representing public utilities before state and federal regulatory agencies and appellate courts.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare case strategies.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in case discussions and strategy sessions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 0-3 years of experience, preferably with a background or interest in litigation, appellate practice, regulatory compliance, administrative law, and energy law.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
• Additional admission(s) to Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, and/or West Virginia considered helpful.

Certifications:
