Duties

• Manage a sophisticated caseload of removal defense matters.
• Represent clients in hearings, bond proceedings, and appeals before the BIA.
• Draft and argue complex motions, briefs, and appellate filings.
• Prepare clients and witnesses with clarity and rigor.
• Mentor and supervise 1-2 removal defense attorneys.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality hearing coverage.
• Coordinate and oversee contract or coverage attorneys.
• Guide the team through urgent filings and time-sensitive matters.
• Identify patterns and opportunities to improve systems and outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to immigrant defense and client-centered advocacy.
• Excellence in litigation, legal writing, and case strategy.
• Ability to manage complex, high-pressure cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
