A law firm in San Francisco, CA, seeks a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as an Entry-Level To Mid-Level Tax Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with securities and finance lawyers, collaborate with investment bankers and financial advisors, and engage with government officials nationwide. This role offers exposure to complex transactions that positively impact the communities served and provides the potential for the candidate to become a national specialist in selected fields.

Duties:

• Collaborate with securities and finance lawyers in the firm on various legal matters.
• Engage with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials to address tax-related issues.
• Directly interact with clients to provide legal advice and guidance on tax matters.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tax strategies for clients.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
• LL.M. in Taxation is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in public finance or other transactional tax areas is beneficial.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• LL.M. in Taxation.

Certifications:
