Spring Intern
Intern responsibilities include attending Supreme Court arguments and opinion announcements, reading Supreme Court and important lower court opinions on deadline. Will also read and summarize amicus briefs, conduct legal research, fact check, attend press conferences, arrange and transcribe interviews, monitor Supreme Court filings, and sometimes attend Senate and House Judiciary Committee hearings, including Supreme Court Justice confirmation hearings when they occur. Interns are also expected to write a first draft converting radio pieces to print for digital postings and to work with digital on visual material. 2Ls, 3Ls can apply.
Duration: January to mid-May.
