Job Overview
A prominent East Coast-based law firm is currently seeking experienced lateral partners to join its growing team across multiple office locations. The firm is looking for talented individuals who possess expertise in Corporate, Litigation, or Trusts & Estates law. Ideal candidates should have a proven track record in client management, business development, and legal leadership. As a lateral partner, you will be expected to contribute significantly to the firm’s business strategy, offer mentorship to junior attorneys, and handle complex legal matters for a diverse client base.

Duties

• Lead and manage high-level legal matters in one or more of the following areas: Corporate, Litigation, or Trusts & Estates.
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
• Contribute to business development efforts and expand the firm's practice.
• Mentor and guide junior associates, supporting their professional growth.
• Collaborate with other partners and attorneys to provide cohesive and strategic legal solutions across disciplines.
• Play an integral role in shaping the firm's strategic direction and leadership initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Corporate, Litigation, or Trusts & Estates law.
• Proven track record in business development and client management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex matters and teams effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the bar of at least one jurisdiction where the firm operates.
