A law firm seeks a Remote Business Immigration Attorney to manage the preparation and filing of employment-based immigration cases. Duties

  • Prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters diligently.
  • Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases, including EB1, EB2-NIW, PERM, I-485, L-1, H1B, O-1 visas.
  • Manage projects and deadlines, preparing and revising documents.
  • Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly and timely.
  • Research legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes affecting immigration.
  • Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
  • Provide training on legal topics and updates on immigration laws.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve client issues and support projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and foreign nationals on case matters.
  • Assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
  • Prepare petitions and applications for submission to DOL and USCIS.
  • Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school.
  • Admission to a US state bar in good standing.
  • High-level organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn across practice areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education
