Transactional Business Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Asheville is seeking a Transactional Business Associate Attorney with 2+ years of general corporate/business law experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in entity formation, contract negotiation, and, ideally, transactional experience, including negotiating and drafting acquisition, joint venture, and other corporate transactional documents. Exceptional project management skills, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to interpret and analyze complex transactions are essential. Experience with Trademark applications is a plus. The candidate must possess a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be admitted to the North Carolina Bar or eligible to waive in. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are required.

Duties:

• Manage and execute general corporate/business law matters
• Handle entity formation and contract negotiation
• Negotiate and draft acquisition, joint venture, and other corporate transactional documents.
• Utilize exceptional project management skills
• Conduct legal research and analysis for complex transactions
• Interpret and analyze intricate transactions
• Experience with Trademark applications is a plus

Requirements:
