Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm in Brunswick, GA, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney. The Workers' Compensation Attorney will be responsible for various tasks related to case management, client communication, and administrative duties. They must possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively handle a diverse caseload.

Duties:

• Open new files and initiate client contact, maintaining regular communication
• Fully investigate each case, gathering and analyzing intake information and documents
• Enter pertinent case information into the database and maintain accurate records
• Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companies
• Manage clients' medical care, scheduling appointments, and explaining procedures
• Continuously monitor case status and review medical records
• Organize and maintain case files, preparing files for submission to demand writers
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Provide excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
• Demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Develop working relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors
• Work independently and in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality
• Possess basic knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university
• Admission to the Florida Bar Association

Experience:

2+ years of Workers' Compensation experience
