Duties

• Manage an individual caseload from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, orders, and judgments.
• Oversee and analyze discovery processes.
• Appear in Family Court for hearings and trials.
• Draft client status updates and maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with Paralegals and Legal Assistants to ensure successful case completion.
• Ensure all deadlines are met and deliver excellent legal services.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in South Carolina and in good standing with the Bar.
• Minimum 2 years of Family Court experience.
• Thorough knowledge of South Carolina Family Court Rules and Procedures.
• Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom confidence.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• Proficiency in online legal research platforms.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a demanding caseload.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
