A law firm seeks an Insurance Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Madison, WI office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate transactions, insurance regulatory matters, and insurance-specific deals.

Duties

• Represent insurers, reinsurers, and other insurance-related entities in transactions and restructurings.
• Advise clients on compliance with complex insurance regulatory laws.
• Conduct due diligence related to insurance regulatory issues in M&A transactions.
• Draft sophisticated legal documents and manage multiple transactions.
• Interact directly with partners and clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic.
• Active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

• Experience in corporate transactions and insurance regulatory matters.
• Ability to manage complex projects and transactions.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
