The candidate will draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for healthcare. Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and tax planning. Conduct effective consultations with potential clients. Interface with clients providing excellent customer service. Identify legal issues related to Medicaid and Special Needs Planning. Research and analyze the law on complex issues. Develop proficiency in other areas of elder law. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Licensed with the State Bar of Georgia; 5 years of estate planning experience; knowledge of Microsoft Office and technical aptitude for learning other software programs such as practice management software. Familiarity with document drafting software is a must. Experience with WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel is a plus. Should have the ability to show empathy to clients and put them at ease.
