Duties

• Manage insurance defense litigation cases, including personal injury, premises liability, auto claims, and general liability matters.
• Oversee cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives.
• Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Experience with billable hours and law firm billing practices preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Florida, in good standing.
