Job Details:
This position starts at $15.65/hr. with a shift increase of .35 for second and .50 for third shift.

The Jack Driver is responsible for moving materials to and from production and warehouse and keeping track of all food ingredients and materials used
Summary
Adheres to Jack Driver Procedures as listed in the Production SOP Manual. Must be able to perform duties in the EIM System. Keeps a legible accurate record as required. Maintains good manufacturing practices and personal hygiene. Keeps department clean and neat. Must adhere to all safety policies and operate equipment in a safe manner. Responsible for monitoring and reporting any wear and tear on equipment. Responsible for keeping track and recording accurately all food ingredients and materials used. Responsible for properly packaging and storing all material return to warehouse. Responsible for keeping the floors clean (sweeping) and free of debris. Responsible for following company policies/procedures written or verbal. Work as a team member toward task accomplishments. Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required for the Position
Requires flexibility of wrists and hands. Walking, bending, standing and some lifting required. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must be able to perform the Jack Driver’s Training Checklist (for applicable department) job tasks by the end of the 10-working day trial period. Must be able to move heavy objects (500-1500lbs.) with mechanical devices including electric pallet jacks. Must be able to operate floor jack speed control, horn steering, fork controls, straighten lads, stack and unstuck materials, handle high- and low-pressure hoses. Must be able to determine vendor numbers, date codes, type weight and count of materials. Must be able to use and read scales. Must be able to use a calculator (add, subtract, divide, and multiply). Must be able to read job related SOP documentation. Must be able to write required information in the log sheets and fill out production documentation completely and accurately. Must be able to follow instructions, organize work responsibilities and communicate well with fellow team members and management. Must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must have 6 months experience preferred.
