Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated mid-level associate to join its Managed Care Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This position offers flexibility in work location, with opportunities for hybrid or remote work arrangements.

Duties

• Engage in general litigation and arbitration, including brief writing and legal research.
• Handle provider contract and billing disputes, medical necessity, and coordination of benefits.
• Participate in out-of-network payor-provider litigation.
• Collaborate with team members and assume immediate responsibility for matters.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of general litigation and/or arbitration experience.
• Background in managed care litigation preferred.
• Licensed to practice in California; additional bar licenses are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, personable, and articulate.

Education

• Strong academic credentials required.
• Preferred experience includes law clerk internships, moot court, or law review/journal.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
